Learn those rolls!
This is not the best Jim Pankey video, but here you go:
Note that you have to figure out how to fit rolls into measures.
This isn't hard for a simple alternating roll with 4 notes, but
with 3 note forward or reverse rolls, you do two of them then
2 notes on a third perhaps.
Pinch rolls
3-pinch or 4-pinch - use the thumb on 3 or 4
Alternating roll
TITM (thumb - index - thumb - middle)
Either 3251 or 4251 -or- 3251 4251 in alternation
Forward Roll
TIM -- 521 521 521
Reverse Roll
MIT -- 125 125 125 -or- 512 512 512
Forward and Reverse rolls
TIMT MITM -- 8 notes, 3215 1231
