It announces that it is installed and brings up an "honor system" screen asking for a donation. A little red ABP stop sign appears in the upper right on my browser.
I copy and paste a Youtube URL, and by golly, no ads! The Adblocker "stop sign" now is displaying a count of ads that it has blocked. It shows a count of six as soon as I go to the Youtube URL. This looks good!
For all I know, it may be possible to install an ad blocker in Chrome. It was suggested to me though that since Youtube and Chrome are both part of the "alphabet" octopus, they may have gone to some lengths to prevent this.
