Orange Pi R1 Plus LTS (RK3328) -- address map
We have a 645 page TRM for the Rockchip RK3328 from 2017.
I am eager to see if the manual is better than the Allwinner H3
documentation I suffered with. Pretty much the first page in
the TRM is the address map (section 1.1) which is a good start.
We have 1G of off chip DRAM which is at address 0, so:
0000_0000 to 3fff_ffff
Peripheral are all at high addresses:
FF12_0000 -- uart0
FF13_0000 -- uart1
FF14_0000 -- uart2
FF22_0000 -- gpio0
FF23_0000 -- gpio1
FF24_0000 -- gpio2
FF25_0000 -- gpio3
U-boot says it uses a serial port at FF13, so we should give uart1 a try first.
We need a compiler!
What happened to gcc for arm64? It never got installed after my big linux reinstall.
dnf install gcc-aarch64-linux-gnu
Those LED
I see these in order, left to right with the network connectors away from me:
- Working status LED -- flashes red when kernel is running
- LAN led -- on green when lan0 is connected.
- WAN led -- on green when eth0 is connected.
Perusal of the schematic shows:
- status led -- gpio3 C5
- LAN led -- gpio2 B7
- WAN led -- gpio2 C2
